A Salute to Veterans
One of our Brothers received
his Bronze Star and Combat Infantry Man Badge in the mail almost 60 years
after he earned them. We thought there was a better way for these awards of
valor to be presented. We arranged for an active duty officer to make the presentation.
Since the presentation was
to be made in May, just before Memorial Day, we thought we would Honor all
those who have or are serving their Country.
We invited all active duty
and veterans to this celebration. We had veterans from Bay Pines Nursing Home
and the Masonic Home as our special guests.
